Eureka Miniatures Bolster The Cold War Soviet Troops
March 4, 2014 by brennon
Considering the current climate of tension in Ukraine I suppose these miniatures and their purpose are apt. Eureka Miniatures are working on some 28mm Cold War Soviet Motorised Infantry. See what you think of them so far...
These are some very cool looking soldiers and Eureka Miniatures have always done well on the modern trooper front. It looks like they have got a range of weapons too from basic rifles to ones with scopes and even an RPG for dealing with that heavier armour.
I'm starting to drift towards the use of modern military units on the battlefield and becoming interested in how they work within a system like Bolt Action. It's one of those rules systems that you could easily tweak.
Will you be grabbing these Soviets?

I love those. One day I’ll add modern era minis to the unpainted pile o’shame!
I was planning to do Afghanistan anyway, these will be a good addition. I already BMP’s and Rambo!
Nice figures
Empress miniatures do a nice range as well worth a look once you take into account customs and currency conversions etc even with ordering from fighting 15’s
I’d like to play some Falklands battles with BA. Have to work out some rules, the miniatures are already there by Gripping beast. Not that I own any of them, but they’re out there… So many games and so little time!
