Empress Miniatures are releasing some new World War I miniatures for you to snap up and use in your 28mm wargames. There are some neat British and German options for you to choose from with the British leading the way alongside some Cavalry Command.

World War I Cavalry Command - Empress Miniatures

World War I Cavalry Command // Empress Miniatures

The riders and horses with this set come as one piece here meaning you don't have to fiddle around with getting the soldier onto the back! There is a separate arm for the trumpeter though and the sword in scabbard and rifle in case come separately as well. They look like good cavalry commanders that could be seen thundering around the battlefield, calling men to action whilst rushing back and forth making sure that morale is high.

Prepare World War I German Guns

If you're looking to stick it to the enemy from range and take on the role of the Germans in World War I, you can also pick up the Krupp Field Gun & Limber.

Paul Hicks and John Hart have worked on this particular set which gives you a good option for covering fire. Set a couple of these guns up and shell your enemies with the Krupp Field Gun. The idea was that the German guns could be quickly and easily transported around the battlefield so they could be of use in the right places.

Krupp Field Gun & Crew - Empress Miniatures

You can buy the Limber & Crew or the Krupp Field Gun & Crew separately which is neat. Once the war became a little more static, these guns were overshadowed by the power of the French and British guns but they were still handy for keeping the enemy at bay.

As always, the miniatures here look fantastic and would be great for those looking to dive into World War I. The Empress Miniatures collections for the British and the Germans are pretty darn expansive now giving you good options for skirmish games and bigger games too.

Will you be picking up these new miniatures?
