Empress Miniatures Calls In Some Italian Artillery
November 9, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Empress Miniatures has an update Italian Artillery set that now has the crew in helmets from the time period of the Spanish Civil War through the involvement of the Italians in WWII.
The canon is the 75/27 model (Cannone da 75/27 Modello 06?) which was used in WWI as well as WWII. Of course, this is in 28mm so it can go into any game where you are recreating the battles that the Italians were involved in.
Since Oriskany is looking into what could have been, is there room to see if the Italians were properly supplied, led and trained could North Africa and the Sicily and Italian campaigns turned out different? Who knows?
What is your favourite theatre of WWII?
