Early War WWII German Infantry Invades 1st Corps Webstore

1st Corps has added a new set of 28mm metal miniatures to their webstore for your Early War World War II wargaming. The Germans are leading the way with miniatures designed to fit into the period between 1939 and 1942 across multiple theatres of war.
Early War German NCOs // 1st Corps
There are three sets that have been added into the mix currently starting with the NCOs that we have above. Armed with the fearsome MP40 and ordering their troops above, these fellows are going to be quite the terror on the tabletop!
They can then take charge of the Early War German Riflemen set below which comes with eight models in different poses.

I like that they are on the advance, weapons at the ready in a variety of different stances. It makes them look like they are stalking forward, maybe behind armour vehicles, as they approach an enemy position. They have that pretty iconic "World War II German Soldier" look to them when it comes to their arms and dress.
The last of the sets offers up some support options in the form of the Early War German MG34 Team.

Lay down some covering fire and push the enemy back into cover with this added into the mix. You've got one team advancing whilst the other is set up in a firing position. You could use this as two different MG34 Teams OR just the one and you swap out the miniatures when they're on the move. I would probably do that but then I can be a bit "extra".
1st Corps has recommended that these miniatures would be decent for playing out the Invasion Of Poland 1939, the Battle For France 1940 and the Invasion Of Russia 1942. So, they cover quite a broad array of different engagements. You can also buy these miniatures as Section Packs if you'd like to group them together.
Are you going to be picking these up?

They are fantastic looking German soldiers for gamers.
Really like the NCOs and the riflemen . Not digging the MG crew , the gun looks strange and the ammo boxes look too large, but being WW2 there are plenty of other company’s figures to mix and match a platoon
Had the pleasure of playing with these at LardWorkshop the other weekend in a game of I aint been shot mum, fantastic figures and look great with their 1/48th scale vehicles.
Plenty more releases to come too 😉
Those NCO’s are funny.
“Er is da!”
