Defend The Gamecraft 28mm Drawbridge From Advancing Allies!
March 9, 2018 by brennon
GameCraft Miniatures have added their revised design for the 28mm Drawbridge to their webstore. A perfect chokepoint for some World War II clashes on the tabletop.
The bridge was extended somewhat allowing access to larger vehicles in 28mm scale as well as options for infantry moving along the outside of it as well.
Bridge battles are some of the tensest engagements that you can get into. There's a focus for your attention throughout the game and a constant tug of war between both sides as they push inch by inch across the open ground.
Do you just swarm over the bridge and hope you don't get bogged down? Is there a way to hunker down behind tanks and push across in cover? You could create some very interesting narrative scenarios with bridge crossings.
What do you think?

looks like the Pegasus bridge to me or one like it.
I’m guessing they don’t call it the Pegasus bridge because :
– another company has a model with that exact name
– the bridge it may be based on wasn’t called Pegasus bridge until after the war …
The other bridge in ‘operation deadstick’ is named ‘Horsa’ in recognition of the gliders used.

yes also looks like the (white cart bridge) near Glasgow airport but who knows where that is but local people.
Nope, the drawbridge is a different product. They have a Pegasus Bridge here: http://gcmini.mybigcommerce.com/pegasus-bridge-28mroad027/.
