Come and join us for another delve into the Forums and Projects to find the best of the best from the last week or so. We're going to be getting stuck into lots of great looking pieces this week...

...make sure to always let us know what YOU have been working on and share it across the site.

Blood & Plunder Ship Battle by panzerkaput

The first of the projects we're going to be looking at is actually a few shots from an awesome Blood & Plunder Ship battle that was played out by panzerkaput and friends. Not one, not two, but five ships clashed on the high seas!

Blood & Plunder Game #1 by panzerkaput

As you can see it was quite a crazy looking game. Unfortunately, one of the ships wasn't painted but this certainly shows off the flexibility of the Blood & Plunder system to allow this.

Blood & Plunder Game #2 by panzerkaput

"We had an amazing five-way, okay five player sea battle with two Spanish ships, a Brigantine and a Sloop, two English ships, a Light Frigate and a Sloop and a French ship, a Bark. The scenario was quite simple, it was to capture the longboat in the centre of the table and hold it to the end of the game."

It seems like it was all sorts of awesome chaos with ships colliding with each other in boarding actions and cannon fire ripping through the skies and into the hulls of these poor ships too.

Blood & Plunder Game #3 by panzerkaput

You can find out more about how the game went by checking out the project link at the top of this entry. I think this looks like awesome fun and shows off just what you can do with Blood & Plunder. If the themed week hasn't got you excited for the game then maybe this will push you over the edge.

It looks like the English also got a pounding here so next time we need to make sure the English win ok panzerkaput!

Konflikt '47 German Army by wilco92

Next up we're turning our attention to some Weird World War, namely the work by wilco92 on this awesome Konflikt '47 force which he also uses as his German force in Bolt Action.

Konflikt '47 Germans #1 by wilco92

The slate grey look of the vehicles with those very blocky camouflage patterns is awesome to see and takes these models that little step up beyond just being a Historical force. I really like the attention to detail that has gone into the troopers and you can see just how much effort has gone into making them look that little more deadly.

Konflikt '47 Germans #2 by wilco92

You could just imagine them coming up against your hero in a game like Wolfenstein. I like that there is also a little nod towards this more Weird World War feeling with their skintones too. That hint of green makes them look like they might have gone through some hideous procedure in order to make them more compliant or something.

A great set and also, great photography. It's awesome to see someone not only take pictures of their army in a presentation setting but also to drop it onto the tabletop and give us some action shots too.

Bolt Action Polish by yoshi

Last but not least we're looking to the WAYPN thread and the work of yoshi. He wanted to create a Project during the Bolt Action Boot Camp but decided to take his time over it but we did get this awesome preview of his work here.

British Bolt Action by yoshi

Now those are some awesome looking British soldiers (I think they're British anyway...oops). The attention to detail on their faces is insane as you can see he has not only worked on bringing them to life but also adding extra detail like stubble and such!

They very much have the look of Pulpy comic heroes but I think that's awesome, making them into cover stars in their own right. I can't wait to see just how much detail he goes into during the creation of his project!
