December 30, 2024 by brennon
You can now get a new World War II miniature from Brother Vinni for use in your 28mm Historical wargames. This new German Officer joins the rest of their resin collection which features a variety of other officers and regular soldiers.
World War II German Officer // Brother Vinnis
This latest Officer comes with a Sturmgewehr 44 (StG 44) slung over his shoulder, ready should the enemy come and interrupt his planning. He also has a map in hand, showing the movement of Allied troops no doubt. It would be neat to see someone paint some extreme detail on it, perhaps based on an actual offensive.

If you like the look of this new miniature from Brother Vinni then you might want to dive into the rest of the World War II range. As mentioned above, you can get some different Officers to make your army feel more unique as well as a few soldiers which could be slotted into plastic or metal units from other creators.

What uniform is he wearing , U-Boat leathers ? And the StG 44 just looks wrong
Given the “StG 44” was the result feral engineers and likely never had a stable mass build how can you tell its wrong?
The Germans made over 400,000 of them .Having seen the StG 44 in Museums and in WW2 pictures, the resin version is wrong. The plastic versions in the Warlord kits are much better . I tend to lean more in using realistic looking weapons , equipment and vehicles for my WW2 armies .
He’s missing a dagger in his back, put there by his own Abwehr….
