Blow Things Up With Bolt Action’s World War II Panzer Lehr Squad
August 20, 2021 by brennon
If you're looking to bolster your Bolt Action German force then you can now order the Panzer Lehr Squad from Warlord Games. This set comes with ten 28mm metal miniatures that can be used to hunt down Allied armour on the battlefields of World War II.

The Panzer Lehr Division was made up of veterans from the campaigns in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. They were highly experienced and great at hampering the Allied advance through Europe. A Panzer Lehr Squad would often find itself mounted up in a half-track which made them a fully mechanised unit.

They would find themselves rushing forward into battle and fighting alongside Tiger II tanks too. Woe betides any Allied squad or tank company that decided to try and chance their arm against a Panzer Lehr Squad that was dug in and aware of their advance.
A very characterful set that should be a neat elite addition to your German army when playing Bolt Action.

Solid addition
How good are newish metal casts by Warlord ? Lots of the BA range in metalI I got is of rather poor quality.
I’ve some of new Prussian Jagers on the way, I’ll let you know once they arrive.
A great variety of positions to give game’s some life to them.
Never understood why they do these sorts of sets. I understand when a unit has special gear and such, but I’m doing Panzer Lehr for my Germans and I just used the Late War plastics. They’re easier to work with and easier to paint; metal models are just a pain, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, they look nice, but I don’t get why they were done.
Really nice to see warlord continue to do these special Squad sets, they add a bunch of character and something a bit more special than the hordes of plastic.
Fantastic to see these are still being done in metal at a reasonable price.
