Keep Safe In Your Bolt Action Indian Pattern Mk II Armoured Car
March 25, 2019 by brennon
Warlord Games have added a new vehicle into the mix for those Allies looking to bring in more Indian troops to help fight in Bolt Action. Check out this new Armoured Car, the Indian Pattern Mk II.
This was manufactured in India and used by them throughout the Far East, Africa and Italy as a means of getting additional support onto the battlefield for the infantry. As well as being used as a transport vehicle for a small number of soldiers it was often deployed as a recce option too.
It might look quite dinky but I reckon this would have been a lifesaver for so many Allied troops having to deal with the enemy. Having somewhere safe to hunker down when your being transported into combat and the additional support it offered must have been very welcome.
The vehicle has a few different options for dealing with foes too with a mounted machine gun on the back and a hull-mounted gun offering up a little bit of heavier fire support.
What do you think of this?
"It might look quite dinky but I reckon this would have been a lifesaver for so many Allied troops..."
That looks really good.
mmmm…very provincial!
Very cool model. However, I feel that Warlord sometimes doesn’t put in the effort they should in terms of painting their new showcase models. While this is a new model, I don’t look at it and say “wow”. The paint job doesn’t impress me, and so the mini doesn’t impress me.
nice is that a AP gun in the front, will look great mixed in with universal carriers.
Yep @zorg that’s a BOYS Anti Tank Rifle. Your go to for any vehicle to small for a 2 pounder but desperately needs AT.
Also a great way to permanently destroy you infantymen’s right shoulders if used on foot.
These would go well with my Tankettes.
I’ve got two of the metal ones produced by ‘Crouchie’ of the old Chieftain and BEF models, One painted and one half done.
Nice vehicle hopefully these will be a bit lighter as the above had a bit of wieght to them.
