Warlord Games are now taking pre-orders for new British & Canadian Sector Bolt Action miniature packs which will be useful when fighting out the World War II clashes of D-Day and beyond. At its centre is a new Army Infantry pack.

This new kit comes with a bunch of options for those looking to build a force for the invasion effort. You get thirty miniatures in the set which can be built with a range of heads including Steel Helmets, Assault Helmets and Tam O'Shanter Caps (for Scottish or Canadian troops). On top of that, you have a vast array of weapons including different machine guns, mortars and more. There are also command options for those wanting to use this as the basis of their new collection.
You can indeed go that extra mile with these pre-orders and also pick up the British & Canadian Starter Army too.

This builds on that core of plastic troops from the original set with an MMG Team, Medium Mortar Team, 6-Pounder Anti-Tank Gun, Universal Carrier and Churchill Infantry Tank. You'd basically be able to play out any kind of battle once you got off the beaches with this.
Additional Pre-Order Bundles are also available which come with different elements. You can take a look at these and match them to the style of force you want to build.

So, you can either go with a bunch of infantry and the book or go all in and snag the vehicles PLUS the book with the second option. Whatever route you go down, you'll have the makings of a good Allied force as it moves up off the beaches and starts to secure the continent for the continued war effort.
The full release for these miniatures in April is still a ways off but that gives you plenty of time to prepare and collect all of the hobby accessories you need in order to paint them.
Are you going to be building up a British or Canadian force for Bolt Action?

I’ve painted quite a few of the previous late war Brits and yes they were fiddly but I loved the character in their faces. There were a few older fellas mixed in to represent the ages that were fighting in 1944/45 and I hope they’ve retained that variety.
It’s hard to see from the painted samples but I’ll pick up a box, get a proper look at them. I’m hopeful.
Nice looking D-Day troops.
So…is this a re-sculpt? These new are BEAUTIFUL.
annoying they’ve provided Sten bandoliers in this set… they are super rare and were basically never used by infantry. Good job Bolt Action isn’t a historically accurate game as everyone will add these on unknowingly. The variety with the Bren gun poses is cool though
I find it infuriating, more options, MORE OPTIONS!
oh yes, how irritating, more optional parts than you should reasonably need. LOL.
Nice job ! Finally I can expand my British Airborne without wrecking my nerves.
Now I command Warlord to make support options available in plastic. Their metal casts suck.
I strongly back the plastic supports.
I saw a YouTube video from Warlord Games recently talking about their new(ish) Resin/Plastic and how they will be looking about re-doing old miniatures in it. They’ve already done that with some of their ancients and the 95th riflemen so it may happen.
