Battlefront Miniatures have got some ace new releases coming up this weekend for you to add into the mix during your World War III: Team Yankee games. The Nordic Forces are getting bolstered with some new infantry and vehicles in 15mm for your Modern wargames.

We start off with the M113 Storm Group which you can use for adding to your Norwegian and Danish forces. This set comes with a variety of different teams which you can use to hold objectives and take pot shots at enemy vehicles. You've got a G3 Rifle Team, four MG3 Teams with M72 LAW Anti-Tank, three Carl Gustav Anti-Tank Teams and three Eryx Anti-Tank Missile Teams. It's always good to have lots of weapons for dealing with armour that has some how worked its way into your back lines!

The Norwegians and the Danish are getting some additional reinforcements in the form of the Feltvogn Recon Troop as well.

These are light utility vehicles or field cars including the West German Mercedes-Benz 240GD Geländewagen. They were used for reconnaissance purposes as well as potential mounts for TOW Anti-Tank Missile Systems. Mounted towards the rear, this makes these some fairly good options for those seeking a bit of speed as well as a way to ambush enemy vehicles. Additionally, they come with various Anti-Air options as well allowing you to keep an eye on the skies.

Sticking with vehicles, we also have a few options when it comes to tank hunting and transports. The first of these is the NM142 Anti-Tank Troop.

As you might have guessed by the name, these are great tank hunting vehicles for the Norwegians and the Canadians if you want to get them into the mix. The commander of this set comes with a mount for a MG3 Machine Gun allowing you to get stuck into a bit of close range support as well as dealing with vehicles.

You can also get your hands on the NM135 Or NM195 Platoon.

Armed with all manner of different weapons, this platoon could end up dealing with all manner of threats that arrive on the battlefield. I would love to go into more detail about the weaponry here but it made my brain melt. I think it's best you go over and have a peek at the entry over on the Team Yankee website!

This does what it says on the tin and means that you'll have all of the required elements to set up a cool Norwegian army on the tabletop. Start plotting some armies out and have a think about where you'd take your force.
