Bad Squiddo Show Off Their WWII Naval Gents In Panto Dress
November 4, 2022 by brennon
Bad Squiddo Games dropped a new set of miniatures on their webstore for those looking to investigate the quirkier side of World War II. Here we have some "WWII Naval Gents In Panto Dress".
Naval Gents In Panto Dress // Bad Squiddo Games
This set of 28mm miniatures is based on (as you can see above) a set of Royal Artillery soldiers from 1940. They were busy rehearsing for a Christmas Panto when the Luftwaffe were sighted! So, with no time to change they ran down to their posts and started getting ready to fight the enemy.

The idea with the collection is that it could be used for your Historical wargames whilst also being grand for something a bit more Pulp. Whilst they are based on artillerymen, they have also been designed so they could be included in any squad as you see fit.
It's neat seeing more of the fun World War II miniatures from Bad Squiddo Games and it's worth delving a bit deeper, especially with #IndieWinter going on!
What do you make of this new set?

Ooh very modern army not the best camo but.
XD
It’s “psy-cho-logical” warfare… irritate the enemy as much as possible… or arouse them… depending on preferences.
Weird world war eh
Naval gents such slander!
ill have you know they are royal artillery always a dodgy branch,
for the record as a naval chap ive never worn such a colour in my life or as frilly
When I was at school the naval recruitment adverts were “Join the navy… Feel a man!”
Carry on up the Khyber Pass…
Squad bend. Grab skirt. Lift.
That’ll scares the willies out of them!
