Bad Squiddo Roll Out The Big Guns & Bofurs 40mm AA Kit

Bad Squiddo Games has added a new kit into the mix for their World War II range. The big Bofors 40mm AA Gun & Crew is up for pre-order now, ready to be shipped out in November/December.

The set comes with eight different crew members, both male and female, three ammo boxes and then the large Bofors 40mm AA Gun itself which would be a pretty awesome highlight for your tabletop.

As it stands the kit works really well as a Home Front piece which would be fun for those making up a little bit of a what-if scenario on the tabletop. The women included in the kit were integral to the maintenance of these weapons and they were allowed to do everything with them...except fire them. According to Bad Squiddo they were more than willing to do it but there were fears that the public wouldn't look favourable on women fighting (heaven forbid!).

You can use the set overseas though if you like. These big guns were moved across into the fighting in Europe and beyond so if you fancy actually using this in a proper military context you've got options there too. I like the idea of your force having to defend these guns as they try and take down aircraft in the skies above.
