Empress Miniatures has now released their World War I Gun & Limber Sets that you can use alongside all manner of artillery pieces from their expanded collection.
WWI Gun & Limber Set // Empress Miniatures
These miniatures are 28mm and so slot in quite nicely alongside all manner of other ranges out there for World War I too. The set pictured above can be collected in parts or you can just snag all of it at once. There are ways to get the horses, the riders, the artillery and the crew.
This then sits nicely alongside some of the impressive artillery pieces from the crew at Empress.

I think that Empress have done a sterling job on these miniatures and it is becoming harder and harder to not dive into World War I. With Wargames Atlantic putting together loads of plastic miniatures for the period and Empress offering up the metal options to fill the gaps, I reckon it would be fun to give it a go.

A neat set full of characterful miniatures. I really like that World War I offers up the chance to play that period of time between an older world and the modern one. You've still got a lot of uniforms, weapons, tactics and such that are tied to a different way of fighting. You can really have fun moving through the early period of World War I through to the later years.
Are you going to be picking these miniatures up for your British force?
