Night Sky Miniatures, run by Matthew Devenish, is on Kickstarter right now with their campaign to bring The Unknown Tanker range to the tabletop. You'll be able to back the campaign and download 3D Printable STL Files for tanks from the Finnish and Soviet Union armies during World War II.

Each of the miniatures in the collection has been designed to work in 1/56 scale (28mm) although they have mentioned that each of the kits can be resized to work with smaller and larger scales if you prefer.

There are two different packages of miniatures for you to pick up which cover each of the factions fighting during the period. You can snap up a great bunch of Finnish Armour offered up by the Germans and stolen from the Soviets.

There is also a big pack of Soviet Union armour for you to play around with. There is a nice mix of different bits and pieces here including traditional armoured cars and some of the bigger tanks too.

Soviet Armour - Night Sky Miniatures

It should be noted that Night Sky Miniatures has been making these kinds of 3D STL Files for a while. You can actually go and check out their full compliment of miniatures from their back catalogue HERE.

You can also sign up for their newsletter and snap up a Free STL File to test print at home if you like by checking out the link HERE.

The Unknown Tanker Add-Ons

A bunch of Add-Ons and Stretch Goals have been added into the mix as part of the campaign so far. Some of those include these Tankers which can be added as crew to your vehicles on the tabletop.

Stretch Goals also include loads of additional tanks which can be dropped into the mix for both sides, the Finns and the Soviet Union. The printed examples also give a good indication of what the miniatures look when printed off and cleaned up. Make sure to head on over and take a peek at the Kickstarter.

Are you going to be snapping up these 3D Printable STL Files for World War II?
