28mm World War I Russians Next Up From Wargames Atlantic

It has been a long time coming but the next plastic set from Wargames Atlantic will be their Great War Russian Infantry! A new set of World War I miniatures are coming to support the battles on the Eastern Front and perhaps even against the Japanese.
World War I Russian Infantry // Wargames Atlantic
We had seen some previews for the Russian Infantry last year and they are now going to be making their appearance on tabletops to support World War I games and perhaps the Russo-Japanese conflict too. You are going to get thirty-five miniatures in the set, armed with rifles and posed in a whole host of different ways.
I'm sure we'll come back to these when they come up for pre-order and get a better look at the sprues and more of the finished examples. Until then, start dreaming up how you might slide these miniatures into your games.
Will you be scooping these up?

These I will buy. My Ukrainian born great-grandfather was a medic in the Tsarist Russian army, and I have a photo of him and three buddies before they went to the front!
All WA figures look too static to me, I think they could use a few in action type poses like you find in Warlord kits. That being said, I do have a sprue or 2 from each of their WW1 & WW2 sets for kit bashing purposes. I’m looking forward to a couple of sprues of these guys to add some rifle arm variations to my WW2 Russians.
Yes, they are a bit “bland” – but they also do ranges that are not available elsewhere.
Mix and match is a good solution.
Have you got any of their 3D/STL files figures ? They have some really interesting sets, one I really like is a set of Danish WW2 troops like I saw in the movie 9.April . I don’t have a 3 printer yet , but I ordered some from a company that prints and sell for WA . Really looking forward to see how they look / compare to the plastics I have .
