1944-45 US Airborne Sets Parachute In For Warlord’s Bolt Action

Warlord Games has a few new sets of metal models for you to use when bolstering your US force in Bolt Action. Each of these kits is designed around the forces from 1944-45, the final years of the war.
The first set worth taking a look at is the HQ Set which comes with a radio operator, a couple of different leader models and a medic as well. As well as being quite important additions to the game itself they also look awesome.
I particularly like the look of the Medic, trudging forward with a weary look, and the fellow in the bottom right with pistol drawn, calling in reinforcements.
Special weapon teams have also been thrown into the mix with the US Airborne Medium Mortar Team here...
...and you can also get your hands on the US Airborne Bazooka & Light Mortar Teams too.
These are going to be useful for keeping enemy units suppressed on the battlefield and then getting that critical shot at the rear of a tank. All the kits look neat and they help cement the idea that the Airborne were probably some of the 'coolest' looking soldiers from World War II.
Are you tempted by some new US soldiers?

Lovely sculpts, I don’t technically need anything more for my Americans but …
Those are really good.
FABULOUS LOOKING FIGURES.
I want to like them, but some thing looks off with the heads and helmets.
I really like these, i think their heads are more in proprtion that the ones they have done to date. The paint job makes them look very tempting too…damn you Warlord
I actually really like these sculpts way more than I liked the plastic ones. Most of which still lay on the frames in their box! However Salute is approaching! Ha ha.
