Meet Mindwork Game’s New Fun Guy, The Mushroom Shaman
March 15, 2016 by brennon
Mindwork Games have another wonderful character piece which would be great for a painter to get stuck into. Here we have the wonderfully painted and sculpted Mushroom Shaman standing at 54mm.
This is a fantastic looking piece and I love what they've done with all of the elements of the mushroom on the clothing and items that the Shaman is carrying. I could see this being a character from a Legend of Zelda game.
The painting here is wonderful and I like the sheen that they've managed to get on the model. It gives it the look of a wet mushroom that dwells beneath the ground.
The sculptor here was Luca Pina Penichet and the painter Matteo Di Diomede and I reckon they have done a good job.
Would you find a place for him in your collection?

looks good but who wedged him?
That does look good.
Wow. A nice left turn from the usual stuff.
I do love mushroom guys (which is why I love the minis I got from the Fightin’ Fungi Kickstarter) but I have no place for a 54mm scale model. My painting skills just aren’t up to snuff!
Looks ace though!
Now that’s creepy. Love it 🙂
