Snap Up A New Sci-Fi Orc Space Pirate Crew By Kev Adams
April 3, 2024 by brennon
Andrew May of Meridian Miniatures is back on Kickstarter with another quick project to bring a set of 28mm metal Orc Space Pirates to the tabletop. Designed by Kev Adams, this is an awesome expansion to the existing Orc collection.
Orc Space Pirates 2 // Meridian Miniatures
This set of miniatures expands on the Renegade 93 collection that Kev Adams has been working on alongside Andrew May. The range are classic greenskins with an Oldhammer vibe so they should work against a whole bunch of other miniature sets out there. Kev Adams hasn't been slowing down and the Orcs keep coming!
Captain Skardem Bilgerot is going to be leading the way for this particular collection. Armed with a fearsome bionic claw, he is looking to take some names and perhaps best the Orc Captain we saw last time around on Kickstarter.
Captain Skardem Bilgerot // Meridian Miniatures
He is joined by his ever-faithful crew of miscreants who are not primed to stab him in the back at a moment's notice. All of them are named, as is the way when it comes to these Oldhammer miniatures and they look great.
The Crew 2 // Meridian Miniatures
They come armed with some strange weapons including some classical blackpowder weapons and some that are a bit more high-tech. I really like this mix of the old and the new which works well with the vibe of the Orcs who tend to just will things to work. An infamous Squig Wig is also in the mix as you can see in the image above.
Full Crew // Meridian Miniatures
The full crew is available for you to snap up as part of the Kickstarter including the weird "mascot", Baggrot Gruffpuff. I wouldn't want to blow into that set of bagpipes. The older crew is also available once again as part of this campaign so if you missed out, make sure to snap them up.
What do you make of these new Kev Adams Space Orcs?

SPORKS! Fo da win!
I have the first wave and am in for this one. These and some from Knightmare Miniatures in Spain ought to round out my pirates for Stargrave
The first wave was fantastic, proper solid single piece metal figures packed with character; definitely looking forward to grabbing a second crew.
Thanks for this article. Read it just in time to back the campaign!
Proper base rim colour too!
