Riot Games Head To The Tabletop With Mechs Vs Minions

Riot Games, the minds behind League Of Legends, have now decided to take their talents to the tabletop and created the board game Mechs Vs Minions!
The game is a co-operative experience where two to four players will be taking control of Heimerdinger, Tristana, Corki, and Ziggs as they battle against waves of minions.
With drafting elements as well as programmable movement as part of the major mechanics in the game, it looks like it could be a lot of fun! If you're interested in the mechanics then you can check out the How To Play from Watch It Played above.
There are ten different missions for you to undertake each with varying objectives and challenges meaning that you should get a bit of variety in the box.
The actual Mech miniatures are actually painted too which is very cool!

For what you get in the box the reported price point is pretty amazing. I know its direct only and that allows them to offer it at a lower price but still $75+s/h is still pretty cheap considering all the plastic and even custom trays to fit everything.
I Really think i will be in for that game nice components good price, and not the wait from a Kikstarter and the mini are ready what else should i want from a game !! Woooaaaa
I think a game like this needs a ‘design your own scenario’ feature.
The sealed missions are a nice touch, but once you’ve opened them the magic is gone.
It also makes it hard to judge which one is more fun.
I remember reading those “chose your own adventure” books as a little kid. Depending what action you took, it would tell you what page to turn to next. I wonder if a campaign or mission book could be designed this way. It might add the versatility you’re looking for while presenting it in a way that I’m not sure has been used before in this industry.
It is amazing what they achieved there.
