Mantic Show Off How To Play New Game, Armada
November 3, 2020 by brennon
The folks at Mantic Games have now put together a video showing off How To Play their new Fantasy ship-based battle game, Armada. Take to the high seas and find out the rules behind this clash within the realm of Pannithor.
How To Play Armada
The core game is available for you to pre-order over on the Mantic Games webstore right now, focusing in on the clash between a Basilean Fleet and an Orc Fleet. You can dive into this game with either Starter Fleets or their big Two Player Starter Set.

These are some impressive looking ships and the game feels the right side of awesome with plenty to get your teeth stuck into. Some big new ships are available separately alongside the Starter Fleets and you might even end up facing down something as terrifying as the Kraken!

We will be looking to do more surrounding Mantic Games' Armada in the coming weeks so watch this space. It's always fascinating to see new games which move away from the rolling battlefields we're used to and a naval game tends to get the fires going under many of us hobbyists!
As someone who really liked Uncharted Seas back in the day from Spartan Games, I have been looking for another good Fantasy ship-battle game. Maybe Armada could be just that?

fabulous ships an the game looks great.
The ships look great,a couple of friends have split the starter,so I will just follow along ( at some point ) and get myself a decent Basilean fleet at some point in time. For the future,i’m hoping for a Ratkin release, because I’ve never played anything ratman related in any game ( at least not until League of Infamy drops ) and if these ships are anything to go by,they will be a cracking fleet to game with.
While I’m all in favour of a fantasy ship-combat game, I’m really not liking the fact that I now have to differentiate between this and Star wars: Armada when I sort out purchases from my FLGS!
