Wyrd’s Spring Flowers & Showers Painting Competition Returns
April 28, 2022 by fcostin
Wyrd Miniatures has returned with their annual painting competition for Spring, taking the theme once more of 'Flowers and Showers'. Bringing the theme of April Showers to Spring-Grown Flowers, players are challenged to get their Wyrd models out for some good-clean thematic fun.
By 'good and clean fun', I mean you may want to give your Gremlins a little wash and have them as clean as if it was picture day! It's your chance to get creative - but you will have to follow certain criteria to ensure that you can rake in a wyrd prize.
Flowers And Showers Painting Content 2022 // Wyrd Miniatures
There are two different levels of criteria supplied, and fortunately, you will only need to meet one out of the two. Can you guess what it is? You will need Flowers or Showers! Challenged to incorporate rain into the model or flowers into the model, they are your two themes to stick to and you can get as creative as you want within the tree categories.
Categories include a Single Model, Diorama and Over Achiever, which is a brand new category making the player-field fair by offering up a new category for those who paint to a professional standard. There are quite a few different prizes, all containing cash-credit to spend in the Wyrd Store. Running across community polls, with three prizes per category. Plus some Wyrd staff awards for the extra special entrees.
You have got until May 25th to submit your entry, so be sure to head over to the Wyrd forum to follow their instructions to enter. The competition has already started, so you've got less than a month to put your paintbrush to something truly Wyrd for Spring.
Are you tempted to take part in the Flowers and Showers 2022 painting competition?
