Wyrd Preview A Piece Of Plastic Wyrdscape Terrain
December 17, 2017 by dracs
A new piece of Wyrdscape Terrain has been previewed by Wyrd Games.
This plastic terrain piece looks to be some sort of decorative glass-ceilinged structure, possibly a greenhouse or observatory, although it has seen better days.
It almost reminds me of locations you might find in the Arkham Asylum video game. It has a dilapidated, gothic style that creates a very evocative atmosphere.
What sort of terrain do you hope to see in this range?

Wow, that looks really nice!
I don’t, yet, play any Wyrd games although I’ve loved their minis for a while. Who knows this may convince me to start…. when I do it will be with Lucas mcCabe 😉
I agree, very Arkham and rather nice! I’m a bit worried about fragility though, its a fairly delicate looking bit of terrain in places.
This is relevant to my interests. Oh my this is relevant to my interests!
Oh this is awesome ….
Is it going to be HIPS or will it be resin?
@onlyonepinman The link says that they will be plastic like the minis.
very nice didn’t the doc’s rocket start from a building like this in Flash Gordon?
Might fit nicely into Warmachine as well 🙂
I’m liking how it gives a more usable 3d aspect to the terrain as well as emphasis on the inside. I don’t tend to see enough use of 3d and interiors in typical Malifaux table layouts.
I don’t know if the Penny Dreadful RPG game would use it, but I suppose it could also fit into their Other Side game as part of a steampunk London.
I really like it that there are people out there creating something different like this. It would be brilliant if it can be modularly expanded upon. The steps leading down to a small gothic harbour would be cool.
This (and the rest, there’s more to come, or so tehy say!!!) is gonna fit perfectly on my table… CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what plastic terrain should look like. Also notice they added little stubs on the edge of the pieces that shows where the gate for casting is and where you’d snip them off the frame. Nice little detail.
Bloody stunning, now gimme some gremlin shacks
