Wyrd Games Show Off Artwork For The Emissaries Of Malifaux
July 30, 2015 by brennon
Wyrd have not only gone and got themselves a fancy new website but also shown off some amazing artwork for the Emissary models that are coming to Malifaux with the release of the new book, Shifting Loyalties. See what you think of them below...
The Emissaries are an evolution of the Effigies from the previous edition of Malifaux and have qualities similar to them, tied into your master in a big way. They work as both a centrepiece and focal point for your games of Malifaux as they work in tandem with your master rather than taking the limelight.
As you can see they are all very weird and wonderful - would you expect any less from a company called Wyrd Miniatures? I like that not all of these powerful Emissary models are huge monsters and beasts and instead look rather unassuming. Power doesn't always have to be big and scary.
I think these are going to be a great new fit for Malifaux and I'm sure we'll find out more about them as Gen Con continues.
Which do you like best?

looks good!
I’m getting a Dark Souls Boss vibe from some of these. Which makes me VERY happy. They’re seriously lovely.
Me wants these that minataur looks cool.
I can’t wait to see what the minis look like.
O.o and those will be miniatures… we truly live in the Golden Age!
I might just be tempted to get some of these depending how they turn out.
You guys have got to do a Malifaux or Wyrd week, maybe just a weekender special.
Wyrd are producing the nicest models in the business as far as I’m concerned, Infinity, Darge Age, Kingdom Death and even the Great Satan of nottingham produce ASTOUNDING models but Wyrd, Wyrd are a nose ahead of the pack and it really shows, excellent artwork and models that are true to their vision.
Boss!
I’ll give you that! Them keeping close to the artwork is one of the things I like most about them.
Malifaux, why do you tempt me so?
