Wyrd Games Previews Skulker Skins Before Next Malifaux Expansion

Those pesky Gremlins from Malifaux have had a new tease for the upcoming expansion, bringing the Skulker Skins in for a preview over at Wyrd Games.

Unlocking a new Bayou keyword 'Angler', the upcoming minion will not be found in the swamps and redneck hive in the Bayou, they will be found in that sweet spot where the Swamp makes friends with the ocean.

I do love the irony of this character. Wearing a camouflaged fish creature above land when sniping. Imagine seeing one of these at the other end of your scope - you'd be sure to be confused by the rare sighting of a fish creature wielding a rifle.

However as silly as this Gremlin looks - there is a method to this madness... or so they say! Adopting the ethos - if you want to understand your prey, you must become your prey!

Although these little guys might not be the sharpest hooks in the fishing box, they are quite the stealth masters - with their fancy clothing they have the chance to get up and close and personal. Bringing in some unconventional meat to the hungry gremlins of the Bayou - they are kind of a big deal! Whilst utilising the elements by flexing this stealthy output in battle - waiting for the perfect time to strike.

I am certainly keen to find out where the next expansion for Malifaux is going. Considering the last expansion added in Malifaux Burns, and more flexibility with crews and keywords - it'd be interesting to see how this cheeky Bayou sniper will fit into the Wyrd and wonderful title.
