Wyrd Offers A Glimpse Of A Beastly Snowstorm
May 27, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
Wryd managed to trump their Malifaux Monday, making it even better this week. Two-fer Tuesday!
This week, it seems the Children of December have a Snowstorm headed their way! The enormity of this baddie is impressive as it towers over a cloaked form - Rasputina perhaps? The two-fer angle offers a glimpse at both the eerie artwork as well as the stunning render.
No matter how you look at this one, if the winter weather doesn't get you, this Snowstorm definitely will!
Will you be adding a Snowstorm to your Children of December crew?

Like much of Wyrd’s stuff since their move to plastic, the render looks glorious. It lacks some of the character of its previous incarnation though.
They seem to never let me down. I like it.
New to this range having been put off an alternative Victorian games, but these seem to be threatening in their sculpts. I know every one is going to say the game is immense and I believe it may be. What are the size of the figure in question might want some just for the paint which I do miss in this era. especially if they are of a larger scale as the beast looks as it might be?
thank you for your patience.

Malifaux is 32mm. The detail on their plastics is phenomenal too. 🙂
That’s a nice looking piece of art that has transitioned well to the render. Look forward to seeing this in the flesh.
its not towering over Rasputina… its Snow… a Silent One… empowered by the Tyrant December.. Storm is the Wendigo sent to her from December..
Very, very cool. Will the smaller mini be detachable from the larger one?
It doesn’t look like it from the way the render looks but I hope she will be.

It looks great, but I’m much less interested if you can’t separate them.
Look at the ankle. It’s (currently) built to be standalone-able. Also Snow isn’t leaning into it(him?) like in the concept but rather it’s in the process of stepping over her.
Wyrd just keep making fantastic kits, been holding off on more minis til I actually get a game in.
looks good.
Liking the new looks to Malifaux
Never played the game but I do like picking up the odd mini just to paint. Loved the Whiskey Golem they released last year and this looks like another I’ll try and get my hands on.
That isn’t Rasputin. That cloaked figure is one of her henchmen “Snow” with the large monster being “Storm”, her pet.
