Ten Thunders & New Plastics Previewed For Wyrd’s Malifaux!
August 1, 2014 by brennon
Thanks to some enterprising folk from GMorts Chaotica we have another cool look at what's coming for Malifaux. Not only have we seen the artwork for Shenlong and the Ten Thunders but also some plastics 'in the flesh' too!
First up is the aforementioned Shenlong with his team of Eastern warriors. They are looking very cool indeed and are probably going to be just as interesting to paint as the rest of the range. I have a thing about painting skin, in that I'm not very good at it, but if I were to pick this lot up I'd have plenty of chances to practise.
The plastics are courtesy of the Wyrd Twitter feed and have been labelled as (from the top going left) Guild Guard, Plastic Hans, Desperate Merc, Executioners, and Bete Noir!
There is a lot of fun stuff coming your way for Malifaux and with Gen Con just around the corner you should see an explosion in the amount of cool miniatures that will be gracing your table. I've heard a lot of people mention that Malifaux is one of those games where you have to pick up one of everything, and I can see why!
How are these shaping up to you?

Just started a 10T crew in order to get into Malifaux. Ofc my first choice was the drunken master Yan Lo, but having no other oriental models at home, I think I want to collect more of them instead of going down a mixed faction route thet 10T allows. Shenlong crew does look pretty awesome too, so looking forward to their release. 🙂
The nice thing about 10T is that you can dive really deep into the faction and still get a lot of variety, sampling a little bit from each other faction’s playstyles. By the time you’ve had your fill of them you’ll not only have a great looking, fun-to-play army but also a pretty good idea what faction you want to try next (and at least one crew in that faction ready to play).
