While The Other Side Kickstarter is still running that doesn't mean that Wyrd has forgotten about Malifaux. January brings a whole host of new releases for you to check out and help bolster your faction of choice.

An Oni's Wrath

Kicking things off we have this new boxed set giving you a good Starter Crew to play with on the tabletop. Filled with all manner of Oriental monsters from mythology it will give you a good opportunity to get stuck into different painting techniques.

This release is followed by some smaller boxes which allow you to add to your crews including the Death Marshal Recruiters...

Death Marshal Recruiters

I've always been a big fan of the Guild and their Skeletal foot soldiers were a big part of that. I think these look utterly fantastic and I'd love to get stuck in and paint up these fellows. Flaming skulls make everything cooler.

Keeping with a significantly spooky theme we also have these Will O' The Wisps which give you a glimpse into the terrifying nightmares that roam the world of Malifaux.

Will O Wisps

Their somewhat morbid and grotesque charm creates an interesting mash-up of themes and it would be good to see how people approach painting them.

The Poison Gamin are also skulking in the shadows ready to strike with those tails of theirs, barbed and coated in poison. While quite simple models I think the look they have works really nicely.

Once again we're getting to see the bright and vivid colour schemes that you're encouraged to try out when it comes to Malifaux, despite the dark and grim world they inhabit.

Last but not least we have some greedy fellows who might have been over-snacking during the Christmas period.

Akaname

A rather fun addition to this particular Crew. The real question is what are you going to pick out as your new project for the beginning of the new year?

Drop your choice below!
