Mechanical Arachnids Crawl Into Wyrd’s Malifaux
December 15, 2015 by brennon
Wyrd Games have shown off a new render this week which shows off a couple of creations coming to the Arcanist crew in Malifaux. See what you think of these Mechanical Arachnids with plenty of claws and also strange looking devices on their backs...
I really like the stance of the top one which is posed as if it is leaping forwards. I think that would be very creepy to see lunging towards you on the tabletop. Considering how fiddly that a lot of these Malifaux models are I can imagine that as a whole these kits are going to be a nightmare with those legs.
Will you be adding these minions to your crew?

They are creepy looking! You’re right about the top pose…
Not a player, but I would love to try and paint one. Maybe on my list for next year.
they look brilliant.
Whether you play Malifaux or not, you need mechanical spiders. Because reasons. You know it in your innermost being.
Nice!!! other than historical cant see a game where they couldn’t be made to work 😀
I am sure Leonardo Da Vinci designed mechanical spiders, and there has been some kind of conspiracy to conceal it. The lack of records is proof the Vatican has an army of brass arachnids, or something 😛
I heard its what the templars were all about…
That and the swiss guard that are all qualified watch makers and chocolate experts who pass their days making pom poms. Your main man Unclejimmy will know as he has a degree in churchy type going ons and off’s!
