Malifaux’s Drowned Drag Themselves From The Waters Of Wyrd

Wyrd Games have another neat render for you today in the form of another Drowned render which has dragged itself from the muddy waters of some river in Malifaux. See what you think of this bloated corpse below...
The render and artwork are spot on and it's nice to see more variations of this 'type' of model coming to the game. I love the chains wrapped around him to ensure he died and the flap of dead skin hanging off his arm - very gruesome and awesome in the same turn.
In game they are Resurrectionist minions and can be a great way to tie up melee fighters since they take a while to bring down. Guild and Arcanists beware, the dead are coming back for you.
What do you think?

Great looking figs, but I have a small issue with the anchors. If they were “punished” by the Guild or the Arcanists, wouldn’t they use something a bit less expensive to weigh them down? Something like a big rock, slab of broken pavement or piece of scrap metal? Malifaux isn’t really known for its water craft, so anchors wouldn’t be readily or cheaply available, imo.
And the gremlins would feed them to the gators in the bayou.
Ha ha – I love it when people bring logic to bear on games!
