January Malifaux Releases Announced By Wyrd
September 20, 2015 by brennon
Wyrd Games have been looking ahead towards next year and showed off the new releases that will be on shelves for Malifaux in January. See what you think of these smaller boxed sets packed with interesting characters...
As you can see there is quite a variety of different creatures and characters on offer. I particularly like the Blessed Of December which looks like it's crawled out of one of those urban legend.
The strange Shikome are also quite disturbing with their thin features and delicate frames. I can imagine them being quite the pain to stick together but they do look very dynamic which I like.
While Sue and Tuco are some great gunslingers coming to join in the fun, and they'd make fantastic Through The Breach characters too, the big beasts win out again for me when it comes to Snow Storm and the Slate Ridge Mauler.
I really like the idea of seeing more beasts in the game that could just wander into your games of Malifaux looking to cause a bit of a ruckus.
Last but not least we have two of the bigger boxed sets which bring out the Tengu and additional Wild Boars for the gangs of Malifaux. Now, I reckon an awesome 'Board Wrangling' scenario would be perfect for a game like Malifaux don't you?
Let me know in the comments what you make of all of these new releases coming out for Malifaux and how good it is that Wyrd are actually previewing things a lot earlier!
What's your favourite model?

With my Dark Carnival Crew being my sole focus right now Angelica just has to be a focus for me…. And somehow I need to make her look more like the rug rats character I think
Those look really stunning.
Really great to see whats coming next, makes planing my next faction easier. Wish Beasts of War would do an unboxing of new starter box.
They al look fantastic, well designed and imaginative – but oh why do they use renders instead of showing photos of the models themselves? Wyrd, your models are amazing, show them off a bit please? Or alternatively BoW could do some unboxings as giantpaul suggests!
According to my experience, the minis look exactly like the renders.
Those Blessed of December models sure went a long way since their first rendition back in M1E.
The SUE figure a nice reference to the late great Johnny Cash, so will have to paint him as the Man in Black.
Woo. Sammy, Tuco and more piggies for me!
Come on BoW, lets get some more Malifaux coverage. Pleeeeeeeease!
A boy named Sue. Love the Johnny Cash reference
Love these Malifaux miniatures, Must dust off my Guild and get some paint on em.
