Familiar Faces In Upcoming Malifaux Twisted Alternatives

Wyrd Games are fantastic at providing alternative sculpts for the characters that dwell in Malifaux. Whether it be an alternative mini, a change of look through new editions or some special swag from an event. Wyrd is releasing some new Malifaux Twisted Alternatives to retail this June, with some awesome alternative sculpts dripping with character!

Don't Worry Be Zappy // Malifaux Twisted Alternatives

First up, we have the Don't Worry Be Zappy Malifaux Twisted Alternatives Box. Taking a different approach to Captain Zipp - which can originally be found in the Captain Zipp Core Box, with Dr. Lovebomb alternative miniature crashing her way into destruction. Paying homage to Kong with a cheeky gobbo-filled Dr. Strangelove reference.

To Grandmother's House We Go // Malifaux Twisted Alternatives

Ferdinand Vogel and The Beast Within are getting a fairytale makeover, taking a completely different look from the usual style in the Altered Beasts box. Little Red and Big Bad will be joining the fray as alternative sculpts to bring more diversity to the table.

Malifaux seems to be heading in the way of pre-assembled in a lot of their new boxes. This is wonderful news if you have been swayed previously by the intricate assembly. As these two releases join the faction-themed Malifaux Starter Sets, with the Neverborn Starter Set joining the fray at the end of the month.

Quite a lot of my favourite Malifaux models in my collection are indeed alt sculpts! Whether it be my Bear-ly Together collection, my Alt Teddies or event-exclusive Miss- minis. I really love the diversity that the alternatives bring to the table, bringing more crazy characters into the Wyrd and wonderful world of Malifaux.

These alternatives are set to hit retail stores at the end of June, and they tend to never hand around for long!
