The Brotherhood of The Rat Enters Malifaux Through The Breach
July 14, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
Wyrd's Monday preview this week was for a fantastic new set with dual purpose! The Brotherhood of the Rat set is a Story Encounter for Malifaux's RPG, Through The Breach...
...but it also includes a fantastic set of minis available to the Outcasts of Malifaux. This set revolves around Hamelin, and contains two Rat Catchers, two Rat Kings and of course, Malifaux Rats!
Will you be following the Pied Piper into the sewers of Malifaux?

Too bad it’s not a full Hamelin Crew, but it’ll make a good filler once the crew comes out I guess (hopefully these are all exclusive models to this set for the sake of variety).
I suppose Hamelin’s crew will include Hamelin, 3 Stolen, Nix, an Obedient Wretch and a few extra rats..?
At any rate, these are some ace models. The Rat King is pure awesomeness.
The Hamelin crew (The Plague Cometh) is Down as a September release along with the Collette crew (Smoke and Mirrors).
Also scheduled for early release for GenCon are the Ulix crew (Hog Wild), Wong crew (Explosive Solutions), Mah Tucket crew (The Bushwhackers) and Shenlong crew (Temple of Dawn).
Check out the Wyrd home page, they posted their release list for GenCon and beyond yesterday!
Oh, thanks, lots of shinies indeed… Very shiny…
Nice minis. Between this and the starter box I am being tempted to get things outside my chosen faction…must resist.
Wyrd will also be doing what they have done for previous GenCons. Some of models and crews that will be available at GenCon are actually pre release sets that will be on general release later on in the year or early next year.
Any pre release models available at GenCon will also be available online for the duration of the event.
Those are looking really good.
Like these a lot, not so keen on new hamelin
I don’t think I’ve been disappointed by the plastic kits that they release. This lives up to the good quality of the others I got.
