Big Black Friday & Christmas Deals Watch! [Updated]
November 25, 2014 by brennon
This week is Black Friday and that means deals! A few companies out there have been putting together some neat deals for you as the time comes around for thinking about Christmas and getting those all important plastic presents...
Battle Foam
Over in America it looks like Battle Foam are going to kick into gear for Black Friday with a store wide set of deals. See what you think...
Of course this will most certainly be the case (ah get it!?) when it comes to the US and the UK store we hope. From checking out both websites it does look like the promotion covers us too.
Megacon Games
Megacon Games are running a big sale all throughout the end of November and most of December until the 25th…
There’s up to 72.5% off a lot of different products from both their Myth and MERCS range so if you’ve been tempted but never taken the plunge then this might be for you.
At the moment the MERCS Rulebook and a whole bunch of additional Myth adventures and bundles are up for grabs so head on over and give their webstore a look.
Warlord Games
Warlord Games are currently running a series of deals which including getting your hands on D-Day Firefight and netting yourself a free tank in the process.
They also have a deal whereby you can pick up an 1000 point Army Deal & Army Book and then get the corresponding Order Dice for free as an additional extra.
Not bad if you want to get started in the world of Bolt Action and World War II wargaming. I have to say some of the Warlord Games Starter Sets are some of the best out there and you get quite a lot for your moneys worth.
Warlord Games are also running a big Happy Thanksgiving Deal that helps you with your tanks and Tank Wars coming soon! Go and check it out.
Wild West Exodus
The folks at Outlaw Miniatures will be running a sale soon which will be more in-depth soon but it will involve some of the new and exciting things they have coming for Wild West Exodus all in time for Christmas.
Some of the vehicles in the new releases section include the likes of this Dust Cutter for the Outlaws. Keep an eye on their website for more information as it comes closer to the time.
Dropzone Commander
Hawk Wargames have put together a selection of Christmas Deals as well including this rather massive deal box you might want to check out alongside a whole bunch of starter sets.
Not bad if you want to get started once again. I think that's certainly the way to go when looking at deals; if you can start a new game comfortably from buying the companies products.
Mantic Games
Mantic Games are also jumping on the Christmas Sale train with some big deals for Deadzone, DreadBall, Mars Attacks and Kings of War...
Above is the Deadzone Christmas Deal but there's plenty more where that came from over on their webstore including treats and stocking filler style gifts too as well as the big coffin box deals.
Games Workshop
We're not entirely convinced that these are 'deals' as such but they are definitely Christmas Bundles putting together, surprisingly, a lot of Citadel crafting materials from Games Workshop alongside things like carry cases and a bunch of mugs of all things...
If this is your kind of thing and you need absolutely everything to be from Games Workshop then you might be able to find what you're wanting here. There is still something to be said for the good old Chaos Black spray I have to say, has never failed me where so many other spray cans have.
Scibor Monstrous
Scibor have rolled out their rather funny holiday season deals and with it a neat miniature/bauble for the tree in the shape of their Santa's Elf Deals...
A wh0le bunch of their miniatures will be up for sale at a variety of different discounts as high as 40% right now and with each order over a certain price you'll get this nice shrunken head as an additional extra. Neat right? Ok it's disgusting but it's awesomely disgusting.
Fantasy Flight Games
Every year Fantasy Flight Games run a big Holiday Sale to push some of their older stock out of the door and this is no different. This time around as well as board games, card games, role-playing games and more they are getting rid of a fair few bits of DUST product too so keep an eye out for that.
They usually have some really neat gems in the Sale so go and take a look. It's particularly good if you want some of the little optional extras you might not have thought about getting before. Shipping to the UK is a bit of a pain but if you're willing to take that on the chin there are deals there!
Victrix
Victrix are also running a sale till November 30th 2014 on some of their historical miniatures including their 54mm French soldiers...
Head on over and give this one a look as Victrix have some really great sets of miniatures that get you sorted for Napoleonic wargaming. I remember seeing a big 54mm Victrix game at one of the Salute events we covered and while it wasn't something I'd seen before it was awesome.
Wyrd Miniatures
Wyrd Miniatures are popping up some deals for Black Friday as well and as you might imagine there is quite the Malifaux madness in the works...
Not only are there some special miniatures for you to pick up but also a whole bunch of crews and solo boxes as well as some rather nifty looking coloured crews in a variety of shades from lurid green to clear blue and more.
Anvil Industry
Anvil Industry have made for a play on the name of Black Friday with one of their own ranges, the Black Ops Exo-Lords. It's going to be 30% off across the range...
These chaps do some amazing kits that are perfect for kit bashing and customising. The Exo-Lords are pretty much what started these guys on the root towards Afterlife and more. Their early work is fantastic!
Kromlech
Kromlech isn't to be left out either as they have their eye on some discounts for Black Friday as well! If you're wanting for greenskins then you might want to keep an eye on this one.
Head on over and claim your discount then make sure to have a lot of green paint ready for afterwards.
Reaper Miniatures
Not a sale as such but if you're looking for all the Reaper Miniatures goodness this Christmas then you'll want to check out these offerings...
Not bad! We saw the neat looking Christmas Knight and Eve a week or so ago but the Dwarf is where my eye is drawn. As if you had to ask...
Cool Mini Or Not
Say what you like about Cool Mini Or Not they do have some great miniatures and they're current offering is a rather generous 15% off pretty much all of the webstore...
If you spy anything you like from their store let us know and mention it in the comments below. There is quite the wealth of options here so do some digging.
Soda Pop Miniatures
Soda Pop Miniatures, the minds behind Super Dungeon Explore, Relic Knights and more will also be holding a sale until December 17th so give them a look if you like their chibi stuff!
With Super Dungeon Explore being a favourite of many this might be one of those neat times to pick up some of the additional odds and ends for the game.
AntiMatter Games
If you want to delve deep into ShadowSea or Deep Wars then how about a sale from the folks at AntiMatter Games? They have quite the offer as well...
Pop on over and have a look at the offerings from across their store. They have some of the nicest weird and wonderful miniatures on the market.
Any we've missed out that you think we should mention over the next week or so? Drop a comment below and let us know.
We'll have more as and when we see them!

Isn’t Black Friday next week?
Wait, did we just jump into a time machine? I thought Black Friday was next Friday lol
Of course, the article is still totally valid. Ya just gotta change the text on the image and the first few works in the opening paragraph 😉
words. Stupid autocorrect!
I watched interstellar, does that count?
Only if you can inform us of deals from the future.
Oops yes – my mistake. We’ve tweaked it now. We were looking to make this a running article over the next few days/week to pick out all the Christmas and Black Friday deals coming out so they’re all in one place and I got over excited :p
BoW Ben
Lol you are not alone Ben he he
Both me and @lloyd got it into our heads it was today lol
Good to know we have plenty of time to deal hunt!
I thought GW considered it a deal if they added up the standard cost into one total for you…
The WarStore is doing a black friday sale as well for all the American readers. 5% off on top of their normal discounts and plenty of clearance stuff starting Wednesday at midnight EST.
Isn’t the whole Black Friday thing just relevant to US based BoW members? I remember Amazon.co.uk trying something similar last year and the ‘deals’ were bloody abysmal! xD
I’ve got some good stuff on Amazon.co.uk today. I got betrayal at house on the hill boardgame for £20 and I just got The Tantive IV for X Wing for £30. So it might be worth keeping an eye out just in case. However these deals do tend to rather limited and time sensitive
I ended up ordering a buncha super cheap dust stuff from fantasy flight. $9 tanks? Yes please! Even with the expensive US shipping…
Just added $50 worth of stuff to my cart on Fantasy Flight and the postage came to another $100 lol! I knew it seemed too good to be true. Probably still a good deal overall but not good enough for me to spend another big chunk of money in one go!
Miniature Market also has a Black Friday sale … ahem… next week.
Just what I needed, Pity no Infinity here.
Give Carlos a ring. Im ready to expand my Operation Ice Storm pack!
How about space dinos from Loud Ninja games? Their black Friday news can be found at http://15mmcouk.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/black-friday-sale-announced-for-loud.html?m=1
Victrix are running 25% off until November 30th on their French and Austrian Napoleonics!

Oooh deals! 😀 I wonder if Wargames Factory are taking part.
Good to know Hawk are doing some good DZC deals.
Broken Egg Games are offering 20% off all orders. They are American and postage to the UK isn’t cheap but this might help alleviate that 🙂
Mantic Games are channeling some serious GW-vibes there.
Everything under their Christmas “treats” header is 0% discount. Everything under their Christmas “stocking filler” header is 0% discount. Their battlezone bundels under the “specials” are also all 0% discount.
Only one giving a bit of saving seems to be the Loka bundle.
Ronnie’s been back in Lenton a few times too often?
Yeah I noticed that too. I think they’re supposed to be more along the lines of ideas on what to get rather than deals.
For a short while, a bug in GW:s website discounted all of their bundles by 20%, but compensated just a few minutes afterwards by going up 10% regular price (one click comfort fee)
Customeeple is offering some Black Friday discounts:

FYI the Wyrd sale is now live.
Also if you are in the US and you plan to pick up the FFG Imperial Assault game (or you are one of the lucky peeps who already *has* a copy) then Miniatures Market have two of the Armored Cartographer map packs in their Black Friday sale for $8 each. Each pack consists of four double-sided A3 (ish) maps that are designed primarily for Star Wars Miniatures but should work perfectly for Imperial Assault.. particularly the Capital City map pack, where all four maps can be joined together to make a large playing area that would be ideal for IA’s… Read more »
Beware Sales that aren’t…
… for example a well known UK trader is pre-selling Battlefoam Bags they’re expecting to get into stock at significant discounts…
… funnily enough, even after the discount they’re still more expensive than Battlefoam UK direct!
BTW – that’s before the 4 day sale that kicks off on http://uk.battlefoam.com/ at 7am tomorrow (28/11-02/12)
@WARZAN

Hah, I think KR and Battlefoam must really be benefiting from the kickstarter craze.. because every other KS pledge that shows up at my door requires a new case or box to store it all in! 😀
Just be warned that if you buy something from Battlefoam – even without any custom foam – you are probably looking at ~4 months for delivery. Those guys get swamped with orders during their Black Friday sale. With the discount you get, it’s still totally worth the wait though.
Yikes! I retract my previous statement about Battlefoam! I placed an order this morning from the UK store and they already shipped it 😀
I could be blind but I do not see any discount on X-Wing products on the FFG Website. So sad! 🙁
$470 spent collectively on see-through Malifaux by our group.
I regret nothing!
What about Kingdom Death?
Plastic Soldier Company have 25% off until midnight saturday. Great for cheap flames of war.
