Go Off the Beaten Track As Malifaux Crossroads Goes Digital
February 20, 2015 by dracs
Malifaux Crossroads, the expansion for Malifaux 2E, has been made available in digital format, letting you download all the new minis and rules to go wandering away from the city.
Malifaux Crossroads expanded on the stories of long established masters while bringing out all new models and rules. It also includes new scenarios themed for each master, letting you get stuck into some narrative games far from the confines of the city of Malifaux.
The constantly evolving story line and narrative focus of Malifaux really draws me to its various books. The appearance of Crossroads on DriveThruRPG will make it even easier to get stuck into the expanded game. There are plenty of awesome Guild minis from this set that I have been wanting to include in my crew, so it is good to see Crossroads becoming more easily available.
Do you intend to download Crossroads, or do you prefer a physical copy?

physical – smell of new print can be additive 😀
Whilst I think this is better value than the printed book, I have to say I woulddt bother with it tbh. Infinity have books that are free to download and yet I have bouht them all because I like to help support them, as they are supporting those that may not have the disposable income that others have. Its almost like reverse psychology and make me feel happy giving away my money. Weird I know, just wish it was Wyrd instead…… Digital books free, printed cost = warm fuzzy feeling supporting you, therefore more money from me. I have friends… Read more »
Companies giving free rules are not supporing anyone. The’re merely boosting the sales of their main product- miniatures. Don’t be sucker, never thing a company is out to “help” you, unless it’s to help you out of your money.
Ofc, its a business that needs to generate revenue in order to run. But free rules does help younger members into the game. That is the support I am refering to. My nephew wouldnt be able to afford the infinity books as I think they are about £120 for all of them, so free to download helps generate better interest, and allows those that want to buy it the option to do so. 🙂 So I think everyones a winner. I think the day has long since gone that companies can charge a small fortune for a book before they… Read more »
I must be doing something wrong when I go to download it wants 21 dollars
The rules aren’t free, $28.00. So by paying for a PDF you still help to support the company.
