Magic & Netflix’s Arcane Combine In New Secret Lair Drop!
November 19, 2021 by fcostin
It seems that all the world is talking about right now is the League of Legends animated Netflix series, Arcane. John and Justin are already immersed - with John checking up on me to see if I have completed it yet!
Now Wizards of the Coast want in on the Arcane action, as Riot Games have stepped forward in collaboration for Magic: The Gathering. The next Secret Lair drop will have some familiar artwork attached. Inspired by the events and settings within Arcane - by proxy the universe that Riot Games has built for League of Legends - the cards will contain stunning artwork across the new drops.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Secret Lair drops - as there will only be two between November 29th-December 23rd. The sets will contain both shiny and non-shiny cards (refuse to call them foiled, because you can't take the excitement of "finding a shiny" away from the girl).
Have you been watching Arcane and would be interesting in seeing the crossover in Magic: The Gathering?

And Arcane was clearly a bit of a passion… Read more »
