Z-Man Games Announces Acquisition Of Love Letter
May 10, 2018 by dracs
Z-Man Games have announced that they have acquired the popular card game Love Letter.
Love Letter has become a firm favourite among gamers, with players using a cast of characters to try and deliver their love letter to the princess.
In the announcement, Steve Kimball, Head of Studio at Z-Man Games, said:
“We are thrilled to have Love Letter join Z-Man’s diverse catalogue. This gem of a card game packs a lot of fun in a tiny box (or velvet bag) and fits perfectly with the many other acclaimed card games that have been a hallmark of the Z-Man brand. I'm excited to work closely with Seiji Kanai to help Love Letter reach new audiences and realize its full potential.”
Z-Man will be distributing the remaining inventory of Alderac Entertainment Group and will be reprinting current versions of Love Letter, as well as its spin-off game Lovecraft Letter.

It would be much easier if Asmodee just renamed all the companies and distributors they now own (pretty much a monopoly of the board games industry at this point). Left to Z-Man this will fall out of print in much the same way they killed off Palaces of Carrara.
Lovecraft Letter is a fun version of the game and worth picking up any existing stock before Z-Man get around to an eventual re-print with cheap components. The current version is top notch.
