Lego Erebor Set Has Been Sighted For Hobbit Range
July 24, 2014 by brennon
Lord of the Brick has found a rather spiffing image of the Erebor Lego Set coming out later this year for the final film in The Hobbit trilogy. All you brick fans will be happy to see this set...
As you can see there is a rather nifty little lego contraption for the inside of Erebor with a mining device and the throne of the king himself. The real jewel in the crown however is the addition of Smaug himself alongside Dwalin, Bilbo, Balin, Fili and Thorin. It will be interesting to see how this fits in with the other sets that were undoubtedly on the way.
I can't wait for the big Beorn set!

That smaug is awful. Look at the ninjago sets to see how good they can do dragons.
I’m a fan of the Smaug – I just don’t think the angle is very good. Thing with the ninjago dragons is that they look a bit more abstract and the folks at lego probably had to keep it looking as close to the movie version of Smaug as they could.
