After seeing the image of the Caesar miniature pop up on Facebook, I've been dying to catch up with WYSIWYGames to talk about their upcoming Kickstarter for The Planet of the Apes Miniatures Board Game.
The concept of the vertical play on the game board is awesome!
Not a big fan of this IP but they definitely seem to have tried to do some interesting stuff with it!

Planet of the Apes with 3D terrain , yes please.
Also not a fan of this saga, but now reboot and this licensed product has a good looking aspect.
I like that the three dimensional nature of the play style will affect combat. Tactics get more complex when higher ground gives you advantages.
Looks interesting, but must resist even more new IPs
This sounds pretty cool go apes, now wait I’m human.
Prefer the original saga over the reboot. Game has promise, but unsure at this time.
Interesting that all these movies are moving into the miniature game space. Someones been busy at the licensing trade shows!
Would have loved a skirmish game, naked apes with guns… nobody makes them..!!

The theme is not for me. However, the game mechanics, the vertical game play, the co-op and narrative play all sound great. I believe if your a fan of the theme this will be a stand out game.

I’ve cut way back on Kickstarters but will definitely keep an eye out for this one next year.

I like the 3D game play feature but as with some others not sure if this is my cup of tea.
looks like a woodland necromunda. Should be fun.
It’s interesting that is cooperative and not pvp, could it have rules for skirmish like Imperial assault ?
