First Wolsung Game Impressions With Ben & Rob

We talk with Ben & Rob who are getting stuck into their first game of Wolsung here at the Boot Camp and talk with them about what they think so far...
It involved a fair bit of sniping with one of Rob's poor souls from the Scylla gang getting shot through a window by an eagle-eyed opponent from the Ash & Oak. These fellows are surrounded!
What a great cinematic moment. Goodt times…. Unless your Rob.

Am I understanding this right, game starts, two dice thrown, game over? I need more info.
I lost, so no game over.
Games generally run for 3 Rounds where every model gets a chance to activate and take as many actions as they have on their character card.
Rob lost a hero here but the game was far from over and Rob actually came back to win.

Someone will have to explain the line of site rule and terrain for that shot.

I’m more assured the game didn’t end with one dice roll. But I agree a learn to play would reassure me this is something to get into. Models and theme seems cool, but right now I have my doubts.

With Rob being able to come back and win after losing one of his high end units, this shows that if you play your strategy right and get some good rolls, you’re never out and always have a chance to win.

I do like the fact that you can die that quickly, its always annoying to spend the first few turns trudging accross the table.
