The more I see of the mall the more I’m impressed by it. That being said I wouldn’t turn my nose up at a copy of the game either 🙂

I tried the kickstarter beta rules out a while ago and wonder how the final version works with lots of buildings and different levels? I’ve prepared myself a board using the urban terrain from battle systems but wonder if focussing more on just a road with burnt out cars may be easier to manage as lots of terrain, angles, corners etc may make it tricky? The mall looks good and provides lots of spaces so again wonder how the zombies navigate around it, bouncing off walls etc???

A combination of a theme, great scenery and a fun game will always win over relentless mass battles for me.

Mall looks amazing, twin peaks mall, obviously. Played the game a couple of times, loved it so far (Andrea getting bitten, falling, then rising and eating her baby sister Amy is still my favourite moment).

That is a lot of stuff, and a lot of mall. Hats off to both Mantic and 4Ground.

The mall is just too much of a Glorious prize. In the quiet words of Smeagol; “I wants it”. Having somewhere to put it may be an issue, but the options there are take it to Dice Saloon Brighton, my local club/favourite shop, or remove all my worldly possession, replace them with the tiny 4ground equivalents and then move into the mall and live in it.

I’m liking option 2 there, certainly swaying more to the idea of just living in the tiny mall. Just need to make a quick call to Rick Moranis, brb.

The prizes are awesome, now the moll is one of the best pieces i have seen in a very long. The size allows for lot`s of different scenarios, and also different set ups for the buildings. Instead of the moll being like it is, you could do away with the glass roof and move one whole section to the corner making an L shape of shops. There`s also plenty of scenarios, using a swat team going in against bank robbers. Or how about USMC, going up against terrorists who have hostages. There`s no end to what you can use it… Read more »

those prizes look amazing but I have to agree I would rather have the equivalent value of 4Ground stuff unless I had the game in which case It’d have to be the mall

I swear, that mall makes me feel like Im 6 years old again. The sheer excitement of seeing all the individual components, from tables to bathroom sinks to quirky wee shops. I could spend months building it and then furnishing it and doing all the footery wee things. Thinking of what else it could be used for apart from walking dead. Modern conflict I suppose. Maybe Terminator, doing the back in time missions.
Loving the look of the walking dead product too by the way. Mantic have really done it great justice – very polished and the minis look brilliant.

The mall is insane, I think if i won I would have to donate it to a local club so lots of people got to enjoy and they at least have the space to make awesome use of it.

That mall is just….epic. Not only would it be perfect for zombie-killing, but I have always had a mall-based scenario idea for a convention game based on the “Die Hard” movies so I could finally give that a try.

Be and my brother tried to keep up with the gaming today. We managed to get 4 games done. 2 of them against each other and the second 2 co-op. We really liked the game and now I need to pain all the minis to to fully enjoy the narrative campaign in the KS-box.

And, yes… Winning the mall would make my day… 🙂

Those 4 Ground guys are pretty talented, they’ve got a real future in this business if they keep it up. Just sayin’
