Love the cinematic and period feel you are trying to achieve by having people in WW2 uniform walking about in the background. Why is Warren not also in period costume?
Warren should be dressed as Patton, I think he’d look great way with a pair of “pearl handled revolvers” at his side ;).
The sound of compressed air escaping a can of sugar water infused with caffeine means, look out world, Warren is ready! lol
The mechanic of drawing out of dice to see which unit moves is the main feature I like about BA as well. I’d gotten bored of the you move I move mechanics of many games..

The random activation die drawing is without a doubt my favorite game mechanic in Bolt Action.
There’s my random walk by’s. The second couple not the first.
Gaming while hungover Ian’s/or sleep deprived is an excellent way to simulate the fog of war.

the activation draw makes for some really really interesting games.
I totally agree that the random draw of order dice balances out in the end. However, when your plans are falling apart it is hard to feel that way.
