Now that UKGE is in full swing, the cards, boards and components are all out of their boxes and placed out with happiness and anticipation on the tables of the Open Gaming Area of the event. However, if players wanted to get their hands into something a little more competitive, the Board Game Tournament is open – so players can now head over to play a plethora of popular board game titles and test their skills or practice against other attendees.

There is an administration desk where UKGE attendees will have to sign up if they were wanting to get involved – so be sure to head on over to Hall 3 of the NEC to get your competitive hat on and immerse yourself in the fun but tense atmosphere.

There is a schedule of games that are being played as part of the tournament, including Terraforming Mars and Catan. So be sure to check up the line-up of games – you never know, you might be a winner!
