Please support your local board game cafes around the world. Conexio in Brisbane opened up last year and it is great. Fosters a real sense of community in your local area. If you feel like a game just head up for a coffee and find a few people to play with.

I could sit there for a few days quite happily, especially if the food from the trucks can be brought in or better still, they deliver!

Such great ideas, both the cafe and the library. It is great to provide opportunities for people to try a game that might be new but is new to them, to provide low-cost options for attendees and family friendly areas to play. This is community building done right.

These guys are actually my local(ish) boardgaming cafe, really should get myself in there. I tend to get my boardgaming in at friends houses so don’t have the occasion to make the trip.
