The Privateer Press Guys Chat About The New Faction
The Privateer Press guys have sat down to talk with some of the attendees to go through the new units coming to the world of Warmachine & Hordes.
While we'll be catching up with them later we thought we'd let you know what we know right now concerning the units in the pipeline...
The Piggybacks you see below are what happens when you succumb to gluttony in the world of Warmachine. However instead of turning into the pigs themselves you're the poor fool who has to be ridden around on!
Another unit on the way re the Madcaps which are a group of alcoholics who brew toxic concoctions. They look after small little fellows called Caskins who run forward and are highly volatile, and very prone to exploding!
Another of the units are the Twilight Sisters who are enthusiastic worshipers of the Defier. They make bargains with people that aren't exactly fair! They are almost an auto-include within the new faction since they can raise your models back from the dead.
A big one as well is that there is a new unit coming too, the Naysayers, who are a cavalry option for the Grymkin. So, you have plenty to look forward to with this faction.
I still really like the loook and sound of this faction… Will some “sins” play better with different members of the 5?? this faction should be interesting
It seems like each of them are going to have a focus yes. Going to dive into the characters a bit more hopefully soon!
Could you ask them about the self contained faction ? What does that mean ? It’s really not clear. Thanks !

Old witch sold me, but more I hear on the mechanics they seem intriguing. Plus a varied force so some nice painting diversity.
Like the mechanics and LOVE the Hollowmen and the Defiers just not sold on the rest of the models, too Malifaux-esque.
These are a great looking faction,my only suggestion would be more tricorn hats
All of the infantry units are very characterful. I like Piggybacks especially. They remind me of the Wrath of Kings Teknes Union pigmen.
That sounds really interesting.

Madcaps sound quite fun.
I like the look of the entire faction so far, and they sound like they’ll be a blast to play.
