The Friends Of General Haig Talk About Their Demo Game!
Gerry spotted a table which really caught his attention! Come and check out this wonderful group from The Worcester Wargames Club, The Friends Of General Haig.
He has been delving down into everything that has been going on with this game. I have to say, I think he is rather taken with it!
Those windmills look ace!
Of course the 4ground guys know everyone.
The passion for the project really shows through. Amazing table! Great work guys!
That’s a great looking table. This is why we want to see what’s at Salute – “Wonderful things!”
great table.. windmills for the win—d
The table is great
Just think of the poor little teddy bears that had to be skinned for this table. ?
That’s what they get for picnicking in the woods.
?
lovely paint jobs, the different colours of fur really work to show different crops.
impressive, the teddy bear fur looks great alongside those paths
Some lovely grassy fields there
Good looking table and that long road between the two armies reminds me of a documentary about the battle, in which the struggle about this road was a central point. – Worcester is not any more known for just its famous sauce, but also for “the hobby”. Good.
a fantastic looking table.
Very nice table!
I had a chat with one of their members as I’m starting on a venture into the ECW. Nice chap and an inspiring table
Gawds was it only last weekend I was holding forth about latinicising esteemed historical figures’ names? Columbus was the most relevant to swanning around the Canaries but how could I not have dropped Gustavus Adolphus’s name?
Wow just will not cover it but WOW.
Big Ben video bomb #1 ?
Surely he’s a bit young to be a friend of General Haig; would’ve thought all Haig’s mates would be getting a bit long in the tooth by now. ?
Also, a sudden Ben appears! Looking forward to seeing if he’s going to photobomb (videobomb?) any more of these vids throughout the day. ?
30YW is a period I’d love to know more about.
Another great gaming table, actually getting a lot of inspiration looking at these. Game looks like a lot of fun too.
It was great to meet the BoW gang at Salute yesterday. Thanks everyone for you kind thoughts on the game. We had great fun talking to people at the show, as well as playing the game. Gustav Adolf changed history by surviving the battle!
(The windmills are by Sarissa. Great mdf kit.)
Another lovely table, and nicely painted mini`s and terrain.
Great looking setup, I really love the windmills
No teddy bears have been harmed filming this report.
