Flames Of War D-Day Boot Camp: Saturday
The First British Forces Have Landed On The Tabletop
It’s been a busy weekend for the American and German forces but that has now all changed.
The British forces have gotten their first game on the go with Michael leading the charge across the farmlands of Normandy. And for his quick turnaround in terms of building his forces, he got to dive into the Battlefront Miniatures lucky dip basket for a juicy prize.
Gratz,
Very cool. Congrats….some nice stuff in the grab bag
The hidden cost of these weekends: The extra toys you end up buying there, and afterwards.
The expansion has started already then…
Now all they need to do is play Ride of the Valkyries in the background.
Great coverage again guys, I don’t think this gets said enough but thanks to all BOW editors. You Guys and Gals to so much behind the scenes to make coverage of the highest quality and get it out to us with lightning speed, give your selves a pat on the back.
The Brtish are coming! Hooray!
Gerry that face LOL, and its also good to see Michael the Monty of camp 2018, leading the allies again 🙂
Proud to represent old chap, sorry you couldn’t make it!

glad someone has done the British
I saw the new box set, stopped building my American’s and went for it.
Great minds think alike think i would have done the same, enjoy rest of the boot camp.
nice that you’re allowed to expand
This sparked a question in my head. When it comes to Canadians did they use the same kit as the British, the Americans, or are they not included on FoW for some reason?
Nice to see the Brits getting a little love today
Boy you put the products in front of them and they buy it up. Good for you battle front!’
the british are here good stuff
Awesome – British armies will.always be my first love.
And nice to see how happy he was with his unexpected spot prize.
Hi Darren,
I was having a great time, and the game I was having was a four player and was intense, and thoroughly enjoyable. Getting the Brits into the fight took a little bit of extra effort, but really added a bit more flavour to the games. Getting such a fun limited edition miniature, from a fil I love was the icing on the cake!
No way i am commenting this.
Very cool. Congrats.
I bet he has the Oddball on the table by now ?
Hi Dan,
Check out the Saturday Mega Game (if you haven’t already), I heard the chaps from Battlefront planning a mini tank game, so I assembled it as quick as I could. I can’t wait to get it painted. After it’s fantastic performance it should take pride of place in the cabinet. Now that it has won a a game, I can place it next to the “Holywood Tiger” from Keely’s Heroes that it won!
Ah yes I saw that shortly after – great work! Really worked for you too!
Well done Michael, keeeping the British end up! ?
Cheers Mate, as much as I love the Americans, there was only going to be one choice for me on a D-Day weekend!
Please, show us some action.
Nice to see some other armies making an appearance
Good to get some variety in the forces!
