Here Dave and Darren from Hawk Wargames take you though the basics of Dropfleet Commander with a few sample turns looking at movement, firing and some of the more technical aspects of battling on the tabletop.
We'll be diving into more detail as the weekend progresses but this gets everyone up to speed for their first game.

That’s the point of the bootcamp, plenty of toys and the guys who show you how to use them.
But not always the main man like Dave, but with the size of Hawkwargames there is not many others that are not stuck in the warehouse packing. ..

watching the basics makes me think this will finally scratch my itch of a good space fleet game
I just want the PDF of the rule book, this is turning into the best space tabletop miniature wargame.
I think it is fair to say that if Carlsberg make spaceship games, this would be the one

Thought of the day: having the point defence of a battleship with Aegis support doesn’t mean a thing if you cant roll 5+…
Same goes for any weapon needing a 2+ to hit. 1’s seem very common all of the suddon…
