We're going to be giving you a bit more information about the history behind Team Yankee and in particular the kit that the Soviets were wearing at the time.

Why GRU. This game is about conventional force…what about the Iconic Spetnaz smock (overall). Or the great US woodland pattern….in use in all conflicts!
If by “Spetsnaz smock” you mean the Partizan suit, those didn’t begin to become issued until the Soviet Union collapsed.
You dont want to wear anything to identify yourself when you might be doing something your not supposed to be doing.
I see people dressed like Lewis here in Louisville all the time. Should I be worried?

This is turning out to be one of the best (or best) boot camps you have ever done! Fantastic Stuff!
I had the opportunity to use the AK47 out in the Gulf and what a cheap piece of junk…. The fire grip heated up after firing a couple of mags, plus on full auto it felt like holding a compressor drill. The whole weapon vibrated, and was uncomfortable to use… We use to moan about the SA80 but that was a dream to fire in comparison.
