I saw the spot on their website showing this range is coming. Can’t wait to see more of it!

A few simple thing like these pylons or a supermarket as simple additions to bring the old world war 2 battlefield in to the 80’s is really smart. It quickly gives you the “feel” of a more modern period, even with older buildings!

I was looking at the 4ground stuuf at Crisis in Antwerp, not much 15mm yet.
Shame I didnt see these, they really make a modern battlefield.

Are those completely in metal or is it wood with a metal paint on it? If the second is the case, does it work with the exposed sides of the wood?

It’s painted MDF. I have a lot of 4Griund stuff. It’s really very nice.

Hinds no like

Man, you said it, @zetazot . It’s hard enough getting six Hinds on a four-foot table. Seriously, the rotors on these things are 7 inches wide, so even lining them up in a simple line, comically close, with rotors practically touching . . . the Hinds are 42″ wide. That’s practically the whole 48″ table. But now we have to watch out for these gigantic helicopter traps, too? 🙁 🙁 🙁

A great idea. To bring it into the 21st century, I hope 4Ground are thinking of doing cell phone towers.

I remember reading somewhere that power lines could mess with atgm guidance irl. Wonder if that is true.

If they are ‘wire’ guided this is true as the wire can snag on intervening terrain like trees and power lines.

I have read that chain-link fences were nightmares for the older generation wire-guided ATGWs, especially when launched from ground units. Back then, a thin fiberoptic wire had to spool out all the way from the missile to its launcher, sometimes 5000 meters of it. If the missile flew over a chain link fence, dragging this wire behind it, and it snagged and snapped, the operator would lose control of the missile. Later generations became less prone to this mishap because they would only trail say 100 feet of wire or so . . . they would use this as a… Read more »

These are fantastic, but since it hasn’t been said “you must construct additional pylons”.

Oh my gosh those are great! they are timeless too, (well wwI and upwards i guess) even sci fi games would work with those. Maybe they can do some 28mm ones as well?? I don’t care how big they end up =P The bigger the better!!
